GRASPnpbegan its Veterans’ program in May 2014!  We started by visiting local VA government and support agencies, presenting our program, and encouraging them to send candidates for assistance.

These agencies  voice to whoever will listen how much they respect our program, how steadfastly we have done what we told them we would do, how honorable and reliable our assistance to their Veterans has been.  In one short year, we migrated to the top of their resource list for helping struggling Veterans! GRASPnp has worked hard to accomplish that and is blessed by their solidarity.

We want to celebrate the success of our Veterans’ program by reminding everybody of the sacrifice these courageous men and women have made on our behalf and, at the same time, present an awesome opportunity for donors to say ‘thank you’ by extending a helping hand.

Here is the perfect opportunity toput your own fingerprint on the recovery of a courageous Veteranwho just happens to need some extra support right now.

This picture captures the ‘thousand words’ that describe our program! This is one of our Veteran recipients, and after a brief discussion acknowledging his honorable service to this country, his words to me were ‘. . . and now I just want to take care of my family!’

GRASPnpprovided several months of rent subsidies, and his stress was replaced with this glowing smile as he realized he can now do exactly that!  “We are back on our feet now, can’t thank GRASP enough!’

This isGRASPnp's  favorite description of a military Veteran:

Veterans are those who, at one point, wrote a blank check
made payable to ‘The United States of America’ for an
amount of ‘up to and including their life.’

Just thinking about that concept should make collective America gasp in appreciation!  In return for that courageous commitment, GRASPnp couldn’t wait to reach out and help them keep their families in their  homes

Your beliefs don’t make you a better person; your
 behavior does.
